Space Club Launch at Vikasa School

Cosmicport inaugurated the Vikasa Space Club in Thoothukudi to encourage students to explore rocketry, satellites and space technology through hands-on learning and long-term mentorship.

Students were shortlisted through an examination and organized into teams focused on CubeSats, nanosatellites, rocketry and rovers. The initiative is designed to give participants practical exposure to different areas of space engineering and technology.

The launch event featured Mr. Prabhakar CA, a former ISRO scientist, who shared insights into satellite technology and encouraged students to develop their interest in space science and engineering.
