Conducted at our R&D facility, this test validates key combustion parameters, engine stability, and performance metrics, bringing us closer to full-scale engine development and future flight testing. Cosmicport has inaugurated the Vikasa Space Club in Thoothukudi, fostering young space enthusiasts with hands-on learning in rocketry, satellites, and innovation. The launch event featured Mr. Prabhakar CA, former ISRO scientist, who inspired students with insights into satellite technology.
Students were shortlisted through an exam and grouped into teams focusing on Cubesats, Nanosats, Rocketry, and Rovers. Cosmicport will provide technical guidance, event exposure, and mentorship, ensuring long-term engagement. The initiative reflects Cosmicport’s commitment to education and nurturing future space talent.

Cosmicport has signed an MoU with Spacelabs, strengthening collaboration in trajectory planning, mission design, and GNC systems. The agreement was formalized in the presence of Liwaans Amuthan, Naveen TS Velayudham, Mrs. Sheela D S, and Mr. Debadatta Mishra, who initiated the partnership.
This collaboration merges Spacelabs’ technical expertise with Cosmicport’s innovative approach, paving the way for advancements in precision launches and space mission development.
Cosmicport formalized its commitment to Tamil Nadu’s space and defense sector at the Global Investors Meet (GIM) 2024 in Chennai, with an MoU signed with the Tamil Nadu government for a ₹200 Cr investment.
During the District Investment Conclave on November 30, 2023, MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi presented the executed MoU to Cosmicport’s representatives. As part of this commitment, Cosmicport is constructing its headquarters in Thoothukudi, with an initial 15,000 sq. ft. R&D facility on 1.4 acres, set to expand between 2025-2026.
