Successful Torch Ignition

Cosmicport successfully validated its cryogenic torch ignitor, a key subsystem designed to support reliable ignition in methane–oxygen rocket engines. Completed during Diwali, the milestone represents an important step toward upcoming methalox engine hot-fire testing.
Cryogenic Torch Ignitor for Methalox Engines
The torch ignitor is designed to enable stable and repeatable engine starts under demanding operating conditions. Its successful validation supports Cosmicport’s development of methane–oxygen propulsion technology and prepares the ignition system for integration into future engine testing.
