SPARC Test Facility

Cosmicport recently established its SPARC (Space Propulsion and Rocket Cryogenics) test facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, supporting the development and qualification of cryogenic methalox propulsion systems. Built on dedicated land near the upcoming Kulasekarapattinam spaceport, the facility enables high-pressure testing of engines and subsystems of ~100 kN thrust class, marking a significant step forward in private-sector propulsion infrastructure in India.
