Cosmicport, led by Founder and CEO Liwaans Amuthan, recently participated in the Innovation Mission on Space in the Netherlands. The mission brought together key stakeholders from the Indian and Dutch space sectors, creating opportunities for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
Strengthening India–Netherlands Space Collaboration
During the visit, Liwaans Amuthan engaged with industry leaders, fellow startups and ISRO experts, strengthening Cosmicport’s international network. The mission also provided exposure to developments in the Dutch space ecosystem, including laser satellite communication technologies and projects associated with Airbus and ESTEC.
Exploring Partnerships for SAR Microsatellite Development
In Delft, Cosmicport explored potential partnerships with SAR expert groups and identified suppliers of critical satellite components and subsystems relevant to the company’s SAR microsatellite project.
Building Connections with the Dutch Space Ecosystem
The mission included visits to the Indian Embassy in the Netherlands and engagement with Dutch counterparts and academic institutions such as TU Delft. These interactions support Cosmicport’s efforts to expand its global presence and strengthen international cooperation in space technology.

Through these connections and insights, Cosmicport aims to advance its satellite development and launch capabilities while contributing to applications in Earth observation and broader space exploration.
