Cosmicport Shines at AWS Spacetech Accelerator Graduation Day

Cosmicport recently participated in the AWS Spacetech Accelerator Graduation Day, held on 30th July 2024 at T-Hub in Hyderabad. The event, which featured a cohort of 24 innovative space startups, provided a fantastic opportunity for networking and collaboration with fellow entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts.

The event was organized by AWS in partnership with Minfy, as part of their ongoing efforts to support startups that are pushing the boundaries of space technology. The day began with a warm welcome from Mahankali Srinivas Rao (MSR), CEO of T-Hub, followed by insightful talks from Clint Crosier, Director of Aerospace and Satellite Solutions at AWS, and David Freeman, Principal Partner Sales Manager at AWS.

Cosmicport was honored with a special mention by MSR, CEO of T-Hub, who highlighted our presence at the India Space Congress and our collaboration with the New Mexico government. This recognition reinforces Cosmicport’s growing influence in the space industry, as we continue to focus on expanding both in India and internationally.

As part of the day’s activities, each startup, including Cosmicport, had the opportunity to pitch their ideas to a panel of investors and industry leaders. Our team shared our vision for small satellite launch vehicles and SAR microsatellites, impressing the audience with our innovative approach to space technology. The pitch session was followed by a lively Q&A, where Cosmicport discussed its plans for future growth and partnerships.

The event also featured a panel discussion on “The Future of Space Tech and Innovation,” which provided insights into emerging trends and challenges in the space industry. The evening concluded with a graduation ceremony, followed by a networking dinner where Cosmicport had fruitful discussions with investors and fellow startups.

Being part of the AWS-Minfy Accelerator Program has been an invaluable experience for Cosmicport. It has not only provided us with technical and business support but also opened doors to global partnerships and opportunities for growth. The Graduation Day event at T-Hub was a fitting culmination of the program, and we look forward to leveraging the connections and insights gained to further accelerate our journey in the space industry.
