Cosmicport, led by Founder and CEO Liwaans Amuthan, recently participated in the Innovation Mission on Space in the Netherlands. The mission brought together key stakeholders from the Indian and Dutch space sectors, providing Cosmicport with valuable insights and opportunities for collaboration.
During the visit, Liwaans Amuthan engaged with industry leaders, fellow startups, and ISRO experts, further strengthening Cosmicport’s network. The team was exposed to the latest developments in the Dutch space ecosystem, including groundbreaking innovations such as laser satcom technology and projects spearheaded by Airbus and ESTEC.
In Delft, Cosmicport explored potential partnerships with SAR expert groups and identified several suppliers of critical satellite components and subsystems, which are crucial for the company’s SAR microsatellite project. The mission also included visits to the Indian Embassy in the Netherlands, fostering deeper ties between the two nations in space technology.
Cosmicport is strategically expanding its global presence. By connecting with Dutch counterparts and academic institutions like TU Delft, Cosmicport aims to enhance its technology and drive forward innovation in the global space industry.
With these connections and insights, Cosmicport is poised to make significant strides in both satellite development and launch capabilities, contributing to the broader goals of Earth observation and space exploration.
